Since you're pushing boundaries beyond what the game was meant to experience, it throws into question any bug report you might have. However, it's definitely play at your own risk and goes beyond brokenness that even a regular beta might provide.Īdditionally, it goes against the spirit of the beta.

The more you add to that experience, the more instability and corruption you're adding, the more likely code fuckery and such will lead to an unrecoverable experience.Īgain this isn't to dampen anyone's fun. Now imagine that corruption increasing by a factor of X due to the game having more, uncompensated people join. We play with three people and already notice some really broken things like farm tiles not being placed correctly, monsters making noises while on the farm because someone else is in the dungeon, etc. This isn't to say "don't play it that way." It's to say "you're playing with fire." As in, you might have a severely corrupted farm or experience. That's not "just beta." That's "you're actively going against what a developer had in mind and built."

However, when you push beyond the boundaries of coded barriers, you are opening yourself up to the software not behaving the way it was anticipated. A beta or test obviously comes with its own instability and issues. I mean, no, it's not just "beta." As a former game dev and person in private software, I can tell you that there are typically reasons a limit like that is placed. I have no idea if this currently breaks anything sleeping and saving and such seem to work, just back up your save cause I have no idea how stable this is MAKE SURE THAT homeLocation and nameOfIndoors ARE THE SAME(but also different from your other cabins), I bet the game won't like it if they don't match nameOfIndoors needs to be a different value from your other cabins. Those last tileX and tileY determine the cabin's placement in your farm, I recommend you peek at the x and y of another cabin in your world and use that as a reference to place your new one. You'll need to edit a few values, including "UniqueMultiplayerID", "homeLocation", "nameOfIndoors", and the last "tileX" and "tileY" of the text block (line 16 of the pastebin) is an empty cabin, you'll want to paste this into a section in the save file which begins with and ends with, alongside the other cabin/player data

I used to make the save file more user-viewable. The save structure is such that each cabin's information contains the owning character/player's information adding more cabins adds more character slots If you do some save editing to add another cabin, you can have as many players as cabins The game doesn't check for a specific number of players, but rather, empty cabins.

Much easier, plus I'm too lazy to go mucking about in the save file myself to fix this.
